About VAM

With around 80 members, the Valley Aero Modelers is one of the larger model flying clubs in Wisconsin.  In addition to several annual flying events, the we hold a yearly spring swap meet.  Our flying site is Quarry Field.

The club meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of the month starting at 6pm and usually lasting until 7:30pm.  See the event calendar for more information.

New and prospective members are always invited to attend the monthly meetings, and everyone is always welcome to stop by the field and check out the action for themselves!

The club has several instructors who are available to teach beginners. This instruction is offered free of charge in the spirit of promoting the hobby to newcomers.  Club members who are not instructors are always willing to lend a hand and offer advice to beginners.

The Valley Aero Modelers club is a charter club of the Academy of Model Aeronautics, a national organization that insures its members and its clubs.  It provides basic safety rules, rules for flying competitions among members as well as promotes the sport.
